Winter in Cary, North Carolina 2009

After a wonderful visit to Mexico where I enjoyed temperatures in the 80's I returned to Cary, North Carolina to temperatures in the teens. Then on January 20th (inauguration day) I woke up to this winter scene.

The pond is actually freezing. I keep wondering about the poor geese.

So I have been held up in my house for a couple a days since my car isn't meant for anything but dry roads.
