The continuing adventures of Kimberly and Willy
More adventures with Guy
All in all it was a pretty festive Saturday night in La Manzanilla...The third night of the fiesta del toros. I've described this before as a 4 day party that consists of large parties with an insane amount of beer and birria in the casino and then afternoons at the bull ring for some riding and roping and then back to the casino for some of Mexico's best show bands till 2 or 3 in the morning. Not the best time to try to catch on on sleep.
It was also Open Mic night at Palapa Joe's. Another great collection of musicians including a gal that sang acappella and earned an encore. Totally packed house
For Norma, our waitress in the afternoon and hot dog vender in the evening, it started out as a normal evening...She moved her hot dog stand to the casino to be close to the crowds.

That was before her hotdog stand was taken over by our favorite Food Network chef.

Norma was very gracious about the whole thing.

Guy started making this concoction that had some chopped up hotdogs, chiles, bell pepper, onion...some french fries and who knows what else...Did I mention that there were a few shots of tequila taken before this transpired...

Guy's mom has seen this before....Norma's mom wasn't quite so sure.

The cooks hard at work.....

Guy dishes up the....I'm not really sure what to call it....maybe a hotdog doodle...But at around midnight, it sure was good.

Another memorable evening in La Manzanilla....
