Celebrity Chef Night, Volume 2

Once again, we were thrilled to have Guy Fieri as our Celebrity Chef. This year we decided to keep the event smaller and simply let the word spread by word of mouth...We ended up with the perfect crowd....somewhere about 60...It gave Guy the opportunity to have a cocktail or two, talk to everyone and pose for pictures. Guy has a book on the bestseller list (Diners Drive-ins and Dives) and we raffled off an autographed copy with the proceeds going to benefit Cisco's Amigos.

 We did an asian menu starting with a Sunonumo Salad and Spring Rolls as the starters followed by an Asian Stir Fry with Chicken served over white rice. The meal was topped off with Bananas Foster.

We have a wok that sits on the weber grill. This allowed us to have Guy in a location where everyone could see how he was doing the stir fry and a couple of folks got to pitch in and help cook. A really wonderful evening....We're fortunate to have Guy as a friend.

Thanks again to Guy and also to Guy's dad Jim, who pitched in and kept the kitchen running really smoothly... We're sure hoping that this will become an annual event.
